As a result of a grievance settlement with the DDSB, members are eligible to apply for up to $250 towards the cost of registering for a course, conference or workshop. Members can apply once a year until the depletion of the fund.

Applications for the Grievance Settlement Professional Development Fund are now being accepted for the 2021-2022 school year.  Funding must be approved 2 weeks prior to attending the course/conference/workshop etc.  Therefore, the deadline to apply for P.D. funding for summer courses is June 15th.

Please note:  At the May 10, 2017 Durham Local Annual Meeting, it was decided that our Local Professional Development fund will now be put on hold until funds are depleted from the Grievance Settlement fund.
